NSN Blog: Ticket Prices
For the next two weeks leading up to our 4th annual NSN Festival, I’d like to post a daily blog on the inner workings that happen behind the scene for us. These next 15 days are the hardest for us to endure, preparing from the smallest details to arranging every part of the festival from head to toe. It truly does take so much effort from our team to produce such an amazing event, so I’d like to provide you with a little more insight of what we do behind the curtain to show you a small glimpse.
My first post is about the ticket prices and some concerns we’ve seen come up every now and again.
It started a few days ago when someone posted a photo of their first NSN ticket from a few years back with a price tag of $35 for a one-day event with only 25 artists, headlined by the Malibu duo Shwayze. Along with the photo came a negative remark on why tickets now cost $75 for a two-day pass. I suppose it’s easy to just look at the price and freak out, but all you have to do is break it down for it to make sense to you. A $75 wristband split between two days is $37.50/day, ONLY $2.50 more than the aforementioned $35 ticket from 2009-2010.
2010 Ticket: $35 (One day event, only 25 artists)
2011 & 2012 Ticket: $75 (2-days, over 70 artists, more stages, bigger production, bigger headliners, vendor village, free swag)
Feel a little better? :)
We also have single day wristbands available. $40 for day one, which is a little more rock heavy with Asking Alexandria and Trivium, and $50 for day two with motha-fckn WIZ KHALIFA! Even if you’re not a fan of hip-hop, this guy is making some major moves and worth every penny to go see. I guarantee you will LOVE jamming out to Wiz while he performs LIVE with a full band EXCLUSIVE for NSN. Usually he performs with a single DJ, but we just confirmed that he’s bringing in a live band to produce an incredible performance. Get your lighters ready!
Got any questions, send me a message! And please no more, “are more artists going to be announced” questions, there’s simply no more room. Maybe one day we can add a third day to NSN. But we can’t do it without your support.
