a beautiful mind
The human body, brain, and heart were built to endure unrelenting life experiences. Under any circumstance, it will never lay back and allow itself to die. How are we supposed to grow from living a less than mediocre, uneventful life? I’m not talking about your awesome job, your perfect 10 girlfriend, or what you do on your free time. Unsympathetic life experiences, for better or worse, turn out incredible outcomes. Times of stress, depression, loss and heartache will always have a positive affect on you if you simply allow yourself to open your mind and overcome. It builds a strong character, independence, but most importantly, you learn. As far back as I can remember, nothing has meant more to me than knowledge and growing a strong heart and mind. Tell me something I don’t know and you’ll capture my full attention. The same applies to experiences that you don’t read in a book or in a classroom.
One day you will be perfect. One day you will have it all. You’re in point A, point B is a raging bitch, but all that truly matters to your heart is getting to point C. Whether it takes you a month or 50 years to reach your level of satisfaction is entirely up to you. I turn 27 this week and I am nowhere near where I need to be. There’s so much growing to do, there’s little time to do it, I’ve got a life to live.
